FYI, I just got this email today. I am planning to attend. Any other
Wikibookians or Wikimedians interested in joining?

Hi all,

In case any of you haven't seen this on Open Knowledge Foundation blog
or freetextbooks list, there is a virtual meeting for people
interested in open textbooks tomorrow (20th May). Details are at:

 http://blog.okfn.org/2009/05/18/virtual-meeting-for-open-textbooks-20th-may-2009/

We're also currently in the process of setting up a Working Group for
those interested in open textbooks, if anyone is interested in
participating please let me know!

Yes, I'm planning to attend. It's in about an hour, so I'm going to go
eat now, and I'll see you there :)

Just a note that this isn't an IRC meeting, it's some teleconferencing
system I've never used before (wish me technical luck) -- see
http://wiki.okfn.org/opentextbooks/3 for information on joining in by
teleconference (phone) or internet.

I'm actually not going to be there, at least not this time. Let me
know how it goes and hopefully I can make it to the next one.

The system they're using is... not the greatest. But even worse, my
computer crashed several times in a row, and I've given up - I need to
fix this before anything else.

Off to #ubuntu (and wish me luck)
